First day of school

I have just dropped my kids off to their first day of school. It's late. I know. But I'd rather they be a few weeks late, rather than a whole year behind. They're school board were so kind enough to let them start late. My kids are smart and can make up for the lost time. With the kids out of the house, I was with the interior designers and the contractor all afternoon. It gets a bit lonely having no kids around yet. When I went to pick up the kids from school, there were some teachers who introduced themselves to me, but I didn't really get to interact with any mums. I felt that is what I needed.
