Our First Meal

I haven't found a job here yet. So a lot of my time is spent in the kitchen. I love to cook. But it doesn't require much effort home. Cooking for us as a family is a therapeutic moment. The kids love to join in and help. We have that wonder machine: the Vitamix. And sometimes it lets me off with the cooking because my kids and the husband love to use it as well. As we are r enervating, it seemed to be a lot easier to make dinner in that. We made soup and I just bought a large baguette from the store and cut up to have with the soup. Even though it wasn't much, we were all together. It was the perfect first meal.
